General Questions

I am thinking of switching my supplier, why should I come to you?

Igloo does not pretend to be a huge company and we tend to work with more specialised clients with specific needs.

We offer a personal service and a friendly relationship. Once we have you set up we find the system just runs in the background and our clients rarely need to call us, unless they want to add something new. With our expert knowledge of the digital sector, we have been introducing fully responsive mobile first websites to our clients which we can offer to you too.

We find we are competitively priced providing a good value and quality service. We are flexible, transparent and straight talking.

I don’t have a travel software system yet why should I use TravelOffice™?

TravelOffice™ gives you everything you need to start running your travel business as long as you have internet access and your licenses are in place. We can integrate your suppliers and link you with the well known aggregators, consolidators and GDSs.

Do you have a fixed price?

Yes we have a fixed price for our standard services. The variable prices will depend on the level of connectivity you want with your suppliers amongst other things such as customised features, web services etc. Call us to chat about the exact package you need, after all we pride ourselves on being honest and will only offer you features that you actually need to better reflect the nature of your travel business.

Can I use TravelOffice™ off-line?

We do have stand alone package you can use off-line but it will need to connect to our servers periodically so a connection is still needed.

I work in a country with unreliable internet access, can I use TravelOffice™?

We have a stand alone package we have recently introduced that has all our latest features but works on a stand-alone basis.

Do I have to use all the features even if I don’t need them all?

We can switch off the features you don’t need and switch them on as you grow.

TravelOffice™ is a large, powerful system do you train us?

Yes we insist we have a 5 day training period with you as part of setting up. We can provide more training time if needed and we are always just at the end of a phone.

I don’t have a responsive website can you provide one?

We have experienced award winning web designers on our team used to providing effective and responsive websites

How long does it take you to set up an XML link?

Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a markup language that defines a set of rules for encoding documents in a format which is both human-readable and machine-readable.

Although the design of XML focuses on documents, it is widely used for the representation of arbitrary data structures used in web services. So a complex XML link with lots of data and content will take longer and cost more to establish than a simple link.

We try and make these links work as fast as possible as I am sure you have experienced the wait whilst sites do searches across multiple consolidators. We have little control over this although we are researching how to use chron jobs as a way of making these searches quicker.

Who do you connect to?

Absolutely anyone that offers their services via an XML/API link that you want to be connected to! We only connect to the best suppliers worldwide however if you have a specific supplier in mind, we can integrate that into the system for you. If your preferred supplier doesn't have an XML/API link to their services, talk to us and we should be able to help them or advise so you get exactly what you want.

How much does it cost to set up an XML link?
